Midwest Bonsai Society August Exhibition

Our August Exhibition has a long history, going into its 44th year in 2022. It is one of the largest regional shows in the nation. Centered on the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Permanent Bonsai Collection, featuring over 50 world-class trees, it’s a showplace of trees from across the Midwest and beyond. Enthusiasts from across the country bring their trees to be judged in the main hall at the Garden’s Regenstein Center. President of the American Bonsai Society, Mark Fields, is our Guest Judge. There will be over 25 vendors selling trees, tools, pots, soil, fertilizers, etc. There will also be workshops and lectures.
