Memoirs of Jazz in the Alley
Memoirs of Jazz in the Alley, memorializes Jazz in the Alley, a vibrant cultural happening that shaped the legacy of Jazz music on Chicago’s south side. This 75-minute dance piece is performed live by 20 dancers of the South Chicago Dance Theatre Main Company and Emerging Artist Program and 9 musicians of Isaiah Collier and the Chosen Few, with original scenic and projection designs by Rasean Davonte Johnson.
