Marta Sytniewski Art Exhibition

Come see a mixture of fine art and humorous caricatures at Gurnee Mills and get a custom portrait by artist Marta Sytniewski herself.

An entertaining exhibition by artist Marta Sytniewski is currently opened, free to the public, at the Gurnee Mills Mall, in Gurnee, IL. The exhibition is on display only for a limited and undetermined time. Significant oil paintings and Funny and Cute Caricatures are showcased by the artist’s caricature stand, next to Abercrombie & Fitch.

The oil paintings on display are reminiscent of renaissance art with a contemporary twist of media such as industrial stucco used in the “Sacrament of Holy Matrimony” triptych painting, and pages of the artist’s research study utilized in her “Significant Art” five canvas self-portrait painting.

The caricatures include a portrait of George Floyd, Kim Jong-un, president Trump as well as humorous caricature drawings for Father’s day, Graduation, Mother’s Day, couples portraits and more.

Marta Sytniewski is a Chicago based artist. She established her company Funny And Cute Caricatures in October 2019 and has been drawing caricature portraits professionally at the Gurnee Mills Mall since November 2019. She has been trained in art academically at Northeastern Illinois University, independently through literature and practice, where she studied Classical European Portraiture and Figure Painting, and privately by her mother, Anna Jelen, MFA, since early childhood.

Marta looks for the best in the people that she is drawing, just like a mother sees her children, and in fact, she is a mother of three.

To order a caricature, a portrait or custom artwork call artist Marta Sytniewski at 773-574-7767 or email FunnyAndCuteCaricatures@gmail.com or see the artist live at Gurnee Mills.
