Long Grove Vintage Days

The 5th Annual Vintage Days will make its return to Historic Downtown Long Grove on August 1 and 2 with new COVID-19 safety measures enforced and hybrid online options. The town’s recently renovated modern comforts that blend seamlessly with its classic old-world charms will be on full display at the open-air summer marketplace. This year’s scaled-down model, which still includes live music, tractor rides, and a Penny Carnival, will have all vendors on the same street in front of the newly rebuilt Covered Bridge. Vintage Days’ presenting organization, the Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association, is following State guidelines including vendor social distancing, mask wearing and the implementation of hand sanitation stations.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, socially distanced tents showcasing all things vintage, reclaimed, hand-made, upcycled, antique and repurposed will line Robert Parker Coffin Road (closed to traffic) giving everyone from the vintage collector to the admirer a plethora of enduring products – from clothes to jewelry to housewares. This year there will not be food and beverage vendors on-site as there was in years past, however the HDLGBA encourages people to visit a local restaurant, brewery or wine bar and purchase something to-go to enjoy at the Vintage Days market. Because the HDLGBA doesn’t want to exclude anyone from being able to participate in the live event and having the opportunity to find vintage “treasures,” the following two hybrid online options will be offered:

  • Meet the Vintage Days vendors throughout the weekend by watching Facebook Live videos at facebook.com/lgvintagedays.
An online silent auction that will open Mon, July 27 at 12pm and run the week before the event on qtego.net/qlink/longgrove with vintage merchandise and antiques from Long Grove merchants based in historic downtown Long Grove.

Also helping set the vibe at Vintage Days 2020 throughout the weekend will be a Main Stage in front of the Bridge, as well as on-site tractor rides and a Penny Carnival. The schedule is as follows:
