Lifeline Theatre, with Pegasus Theatre Chicago, Present “From the Mississippi Delta,” April 27 – June 18

Lifeline Theatre, in co-production with Pegasus Theatre Chicago, proudly presents “From the Mississippi Delta,” based on the autobiography written by Dr. Endesha Ida Mae Holland, at Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N Glenwood Ave., April 27 – June 18. Lifeline’s production is directed by Artistic Director Ilesa Duncan. The performance schedule is Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.

Based on her memoir of the same title, Dr. Endesha Ida Mae Holland recounts her 20 year journey from humble beginnings in Greenwood, Mississippi to achieving her Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota. Directed by Lifeline Artistic Director Ilesa Duncan (“Neverwhere” [2018], “Middle Passage”), experience a story of triumph in the face of extreme adversity that expertly weaves through the trials and tribulations of Dr. Holland’s life relayed through the bodies and voices of only three actors, all in tribute to one of America’s unsung “sheroes.”

Tickets for “From the Mississippi Delta” are now on sale and may be purchased by calling (773) 761-4477 or by visiting LifelineTheatre.com. Single tickets starting at $45 now on sale with senior and student discounts are available.
