Korean Culture Workshop

Join our workshop for an exploration of Obangsaek (오방색), the traditional Korean color scheme of blue (green), red, yellow, white, and black. These colors aren’t just for show in Korean culture; they’re deeply connected to the universe, directions, and the philosophy of the Five Elements. We’ll uncover the significance of these hues in Korean traditions, touching on everything from fashion to art. You’ll also get to create your own collage postcards using these symbolic colors. This session offers a unique opportunity to engage with Korean heritage in a creative and meaningful manner.

Tickets for general admission are $15. HMAA members tickets cost $10.
