“Highrises: Art Deco”: Book Signing & Architectural Talk
Luxury boutique hotel Pendry Chicago is hosting “High Rises: Art Deco” authors Chris Hytha and Mark Houser for an intimate book-signing & architectural panel about the Carbide & Carbon Building! Houser & Hytha, along with Chicago Architectural Center’s historian Adam Rubin and Pendry’s Director of Engineering Michael Goshorn, will team up to discuss all things Chicago architecture and Art Deco during a panel in the hotel’s second floor Gallery Rooms. Following the panel, guests are invited to the lobby-level Billiards Gallery for an up-close look at artist Chris Hytha’s ornate model of the Carbide & Carbon Building, light bites and a champagne toast.
