Halloween History Happy Hour
The Chicago History Museum presents History Happy Hour in celebration of Chicago’s spooky history just in time for Halloween. Listen to the ghostly legends of Chicago’s scariest moments, explore the dark side of our state’s history with rarely seen materials from the Museum’s archives, and discover the frightening histories behind otherworldly and mysterious objects in the Museum’s collection – pulled from the archives for one night only.
The Happy Hour event includes music by DJ Lunatik and two hand-poured specialty cocktails, sponsored by el Jimador Tequila. Guests have the chance to be among the first to see our newest exhibition, American Medina: Stories of Muslim Chicago, and learn more about our collection during pop-up activations and the opportunity to chat with our Research Center staff about rarely-seen collection materials that will be on display.
A cash bar and food will be available for purchase.
Admission to History Happy Hour is $20 in advance, $25 at the door for the public and $15 in advance, $20 at the door for Museum members. Guests must be 21+ to purchase a ticket to History Happy Hour. You can purchase tickets here.
