St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago is a vibrant and energetic experience, and the Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago is preparing to up the ante this season with a week-long embrace of what makes this holiday such a uniquely Guinness experience.

The celebration will kick off on March 13th and continue through March 17th. With nine sessions spread across five days, the iconic brewery will welcome locals and visitors to partake in an unforgettable indoor-outdoor celebration including a unique tap list with both locally brewed beers and Dublin-brewed favorites, a menu full of classic St. Patrick’s Day fare, live entertainment, and a fully stocked retail shop with St. Patrick’s Week merchandise that can only be found at the Open Gate Brewery. The week will include a proper Chicago Block Party on Saturday, March 16 through Sunday, March 17.

Highlights will include limited-edition St. Patrick’s Week Beers including a Clover Honey Ale, an Irish Breakfast Tea Amber Ale, an Irish Coffee-Inspired Beer and Dublin classics like Harp Lager, Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale and the iconic Guinness Draught Stout.

The events will also feature Personalize Your Pint, offering the chance to feature your own selfie on top of a pint of Guinness Draught Stout and Perfect Pint Academy, in which guests learn the legendary six-step process to pour their own pint at the Home of Guinness in Chicago.

Guinness has meticulously curated an experience for everyone, whether you’re looking to mingle in the lively crowd during the day or need a nightcap to end your day with your closest friends in a more intimate setting.

“Guinness beer first arrived in Chicago in 1910, meaning our beer has found a home at St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in this city for generations. But this will be our first St. Patrick’s Day hosting people from every walk of life at our Chicago home. The chance to share a bit of our magic, our stories, and, of course, our beer means the world to us. We can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and neighbors,” says Guinness National Ambassador and Head of Marketing and Community Partnerships, Ryan Wagner.
