Stand-Up Comedian Fumi Abe is coming to Chicago FOR THE FIRST TIME to use humor as a rhetorical tool to inform and persuade mass audiences!

Fumi Abe is a Japanese-American stand-up comedian/writer based in Los Angeles who recently made his TV debut on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and was selected to be part of the 2023 Just For Laughs New Faces. He has written for The Late Late Show with James Corden, NPR’s “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!”, the 2022 TIME100 Gala hosted by Simu Liu, and was part of the 2020 Comedy Central Digital Creators Program.
