Feast of the Goat Queen – A Fest for the Fae Folk

Rabid Brewing’s Feast of the Goat Queen is the most fascinating and bonkers fest in Chicago’s South Suburbs, celebrating Floralia with fae costumes, new beers, live goats, live music, food trucks, and an artisan market of the natural, mystical, and magical.

Featuring 5 New Brews
What would a fest be without something entirely new to try? We’re brewing up some brand new bangers made for summer quafftide. We’ll have the monster 16.5% Horus Reborn on tap, but the new ones are lovely surprises you’ll need to come discover.
Live Music:
All live acts are some of the best original music coming out of Chicagoland today. This isn’t your uncle’s dad-rock cover show — all fresh, all original music. Time to discover the new.
The Land Before Tim -Original Chicago Ska-core – Will Make Loins Quiver
The Tomblands – Massive Chicago Garage Psych – Will melt brains
AM Howler – Soulful Chicago Heights blues – will Drop Jaws
Naughty Neil Whitham – Snarky Midwest folk – Will Crack you up
Artisan Fair:
Carefully curated artists from Chicagoland and as far as New York will be present to provide a unique shopping experience of the natural, mystical, and magical:

Fae Costumes:
This is like a renfaire for the fae folk. Attendees are encouraged to dress like elves, satyrs, wood nymphs, etc. Leaf wreaths, wings or a pair of horns fit right in. The Goat Queen and her flock of fae will be on hand to greet you and brighten your insta with their magick.
Live Goats:
Contrary to some interpretation, there will be no eating of goats… we will, however, have live goats to celebrate with. Have a beer, pet a baby goat. Blow kisses at the goats. Tell goat stories.
(The goats will be there from the start to about 6pm)
Food Trucks:
Speaking of not eating goats, there WILL be food trucks!
