Constellation Men’s Ensemble presents NOVA V: humanhood

On May 13 and 14, award-winning Chicago vocal group Constellation Men’s Ensemble will perform world premieres on the themes of masculinity and the human experience in America today. The fifth-annual new music concert series “NOVA 5: humanhood” will feature new music by Robert Maggio,  Ephraim Champion, Jeffrey Derus, Leo Discenza, and Kari Watson that explores the human experience in America today: how we relate to one another, the masks we wear, and the lines that connect and divide our most vulnerable selves. A portion of concert proceeds will benefit Chicago nonprofit Center on Halsted, dedicated to building and strengthening community and assuring the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people. More than 1,000 Chicagoans visit the center each day.

Tickets are a $25 suggested donation, available at Both concerts will also be livestreamed for remote viewing.
