Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras Fall Concert

Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras (CYSO) presents their Fall Concert featuring CYSO alum Mary Elizabeth Bowden performing the world premiere of “Bohemian Queen,” a new concerto from composer Clarice Assad inspired by the work of the surrealist Chicago painter Gertrude Abercrombie. The program also features an exciting line-up of contemporary works by Jessie Montgomery, Anna Clyne and Daniel Bernard Roumain, as well as Strauss’ heroic, autobiographical “Ein Heldenleben.”
