Chicago Billiard Cafe Mac Blackout Mural Reveal and Art Exhibit
WHO:
The Chicago Billiard Café is under new management. CBC is proudly a majority woman owned business that is expanding to reach a more diverse customer base. Founded in 1982, CBC, a 4,000 sqft space is one of Chicago’s premiere pool halls. We are honoring Chicago as the birthplace and world headquarters of pinball by adding pinball to our pool hall. Additionally, we have a mezzanine space that will feature art exhibitions by local artists.

Mural Reveal and Pop-Up Art Show Reception
Friday, October 4
On October 4, we invite you to celebrate Mac’s recently completed large-scale mural that breathes new life into CBC and view a collection of works presented in our mezzanine art gallery. Mac Blackout is a visual artist and musician based in Chicago. He has completed scores of large-scale murals and is the founding member of several bands including The Functional Blackouts, Daily Void, Mickey and Armageddon Experimental Band. Additionally, Mac has released solo records and has a studio focus in painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media art. While Mac’s mural will be permanently on display, the Pop-Up Art Show will be on view until October 23.

Founded in 1982, and under new ownership, CBC is proud to partner with local artists and now features a roster of pool and pinball programming that is welcome to all. We offer bar service and food service, cheap pool table time and a pinball collection and are open daily Noon-Midnight and open until 2am on Saturday.
