Davenport’s Piano Bar & Cabaret,Chicago’s premier location for enjoying music in an intimate setting, hosts Cathy Glickman in “It’s A Man’s World,” in its Cabaret on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug.14 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 with a two-drink minimum and available at DavenportsPianoBar.com.
Cathy Glickman takes us on both a personal and inclusive journey digging into traditional male centric songs from a diverse repertoire. From Frank Loesser to Bruce Springsteen, she raises the question and honors the long standing proverb “It’s a man’s world” through song and story. Directed by Lina Koutrakos, with piano arrangements by Beckie Menzie and percussion by Irwin Berkowitz.
Davenport’s, 1383 North Milwaukee Ave., is open Thursdays 7 – 11 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. and Sundays from 6 – 11 p.m.
