Boozy Book Club: The Whistler Honors Tolkien’s Literary Works Through Fantastical Cocktails, Ambient Music, and Immersive Visuals

Following a successful launch of their new Book Club event series, The Whistler — Logan Square’s OG craft cocktail bar and live music venue invites literary enthusiasts on a journey to Middle-Earth as they explore J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic Lord of the Rings trilogy. The innovative mixology team is bringing legendary novels to life with a fully immersive experience, serving biblio-inspired libations to the tune of a carefully curated selection of ambient soundscapes, hobbit rock and a smattering of proto-metal songs from live DJs, evoking visions of mystical wizards and dragons from the darkest alleys of Numenor. Honor the legacy of the Shards of Narsil long into the night beginning Thursday, March 23 at 6:00 PM to Friday, March 24 at 1:00 AM.
