Becoming is Coming!

Kaeshi Chai’s Becoming: Exploring Identity is coming to Chicago on September 3rd at 6PM at The Newport Theater

Previously seen in Austin, TX and Santa Fe, the Chicago cast will feature dancers from around the country as well as local professionals.

As a special part of this production, the Chicago edition of “Becoming: Exploring Identity” will feature an ensemble of Creative Lab intensive participants who have developed a new and original piece in collaboration with Kaeshi Chai** especially for this production.

Life is not black and white. We live in shades of gradients. Like an ice berg, there is a lot below the surface that the world may never see. Embark on a journey with us through dance, music and story to explore the concept of identity. Who are you? Who do you want to become?

Witness emotional breakthroughs, personal revelations, and moments of clarity as performers peel back the layers of their identities and reveal their true essence.
