Barrio Arts Festival

The 24th Annual Barrio Arts Festival is a free, two-day event celebrating Puerto Rican and Latino arts and culture. Visitors can check out approximately 70 vendors and enjoy Salsa lessons, family art workshops, Puerto Rican food and live music. Salsa lessons will be taught by world-renowned choreographer and master instructor Lyrik Cruz, plus art workshops with Latino artists Tonie Tirado and Maria Corrigan. Kids and adults alike will enjoy a meet and greet with “La Borinqueña” creator and Marvel Entertainment writer Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez, who will host a workshop to Create Your Own Superhero Comic. There will also be a meet and greet with La Borinqueña, the AfroBoricua Superheroine!
