Bali Sani: CBG’s Fifth Annual Concert

Chicago Balinese Gamelan welcomes guest artists Ketut Gede Asnawa and Putu Oka Mardiani and visiting artists from Bali Indra Sadguna and Ayu Made Desiari for the most exciting CBG performance to date!

The term ‘Bali Sani’ refers to the encompassment of Balinese performing arts. Featured performance works include a new composition and choreography by Ketut Gede Asnawa and Putu Oka Mardiani titled Dharma Shanti. Indra—a gifted drummer—will display fast, lively drumming in a rendition of Arja-style Balinese dance-drama, accompanied by Ayu’s traditional Balinese vocals of ancient Hindu poetry.

This performance welcomes families of all ages. Tickets are $20 in advance through Eventbrite for adults aged 19-64. Adults pay $25 at the door. Seniors and kids tickets cost $15 at the door.
