Arlo Chicago Launches Arlo’s Living Room Gallery
Arlo’s Living Room Gallery series is expanding to Chicago and celebrating Pride! Join the festivities on Thursday, June 20th from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at About Last Knife at Arlo Chicago to observe the latest art installations, mingle with like-minded art enthusiasts, groove to the sounds of a local Chicago based DJ, and enjoy extended Lucky Hour food and drink specials.
The Arlo Living Room Gallery Series was created and curated by Jasmine Arakel, with the mission to bring contemporary art into publicly accessible spaces at Arlo Hotels. In partnership with Monique Meloche Gallery and for a limited time, Arlo Chicago is thrilled to exhibit works by David Antonio Cruz and Antonius-Tín Bui that explore themes in gender and queerness.
Art specialists from Monique Meloche Gallery will be in attendance to discuss the artists’ work and their relevance in 21st Century contemporary art.
This event is free and open to the public, so attendees are encouraged to bring friends, lovers, colleagues, and open minds for a night of fine art, eats, and discussion.
The dishes are to be curated and served in About Last Knife, which is Arlo Chicago’s fresh approach to the gastropub. Attendees will enjoy an array of New American bites and classic staples, served up with craft cocktails, local draft beers and wines by the glass.
