2023 Jeff Awards

The Equity Jeff Awards Show represents the culmination of a year of evaluating hundreds of theatrical productions, highlighting the work of nominated designers, directors, performers, playwrights, choreographers and producing theater companies from across the greater Chicagoland area. Through its recommendations and honors, the Jeff Awards helps foster the growth of companies, encourages artists, brings new appreciation for diverse storytelling and cultivates civic pride in the achievements of the Chicago theater community. Typically, this event attracts between 800 and 1000 attendees, made up of Chicago artists and their friends and families as well as general theater enthusiasts who simply have a passion for the arts. As a part of the awards show, a Special Award is bestowed each year on an individual or organization that has made an especially significant contribution to Chicago theater. This year, the 2023 Equity Jeff Awards will be held at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook, Illinois.
