On Sunday, February 17, the home of the Chicago Bears will play host to a fantastic event featuring some of the top college hockey teams in the country.

The Hockey City Classic will feature four nationally ranked men's hockey teams with incredible traditions. At noon, the University of Notre Dame will face off against Miami (Ohio), followed by a battle of Big Ten powerhouses when Minnesota and Wisconsin hit the ice.


The Chicago Blackhawks were supposed to begin their 2012-13 season with a training camp festival on Sept. 22. To be clear, both the league and players are hopeful that a NHL season will proceed without games lost. But just in case your burning for hockey, there are still a number of great opportunities in Chicago.
