As one of the most influential musicians in Africa, King Sunny Ade attracts fans from all over the world who thrill at the infectious sound of polyrhythmic music called Juju. Dubbed the "Minister of Enjoyment," his shows with his 20-30 member band, the African Beats, produce a hypnotic spectacle of color and rhythm that should not be missed. After a disappointing cancellation last year because of global Visa issues, Ade will return to Millennium Park's Pritzker Pavilion on July 18 for a highly anticipated performance.

Millennium Park Film SeriesLooking for a free family-friendly activity that's fun for all ages? Summer is one of the best seasons in Chicago, if only because there are so many ways to enjoy the beautiful weather. But what am I most excited for? The upcoming Millennium Park Film Series, in partnership with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, will present a different movie every Tuesday night at 6:30pm, starting with Ferris Bueller's Day Off on June 21!
