Nestled between a bustling college campus and an eclectic neighborhood, the Loyola Farmer's Market serves locals with fresh produce and organic goods every Monday. Owned and operated by Loyola University's own students, the market is a direct result of a student-led project in Loyola's Solutions to Environmental Problems (STEP) Food Systems class back. After originally being conceptualized by these students in 2009, the market came to fruition in 2011 and has had a lasting, growing impact since.
