Wrigley Field Scoreboard

Wrigley Field's season-long 100th birthday celebration commemorates the 1930s this weekend, as the Chicago Cubs take on first-place division opponent Milwaukee Brewers, May 16-18, giving away a few choice promotional items. The weather is looking good this weekend, so get your tickets today!

At the 1:20 p.m. series opener Friday, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive an exclusive limited-edition Babe Ruth "Called Shot" bobblehead figure. The bobblehead depicts Ruth in his signature pose pointing to center field, where he famously hit a home run as a member of the New York Yankees in Game 3 of the 1932 World Series, held at Wrigley Field. Though the nature of the Ruth's gesture remains ambiguous to this day, the pose has lived on in baseball lore.

The first 10,000 fans in attendance at Saturday's game will be given a limited-edition umbrella, presented by Morton Salt. That game is also set for a 1:20 start.

On Sunday, May 18, the Cubs will wear throwback home uniforms from 1937, the year when Wrigley Field's scoreboard was installed and the iconic ivy was planted on the newly-constructed bleacher wall. This uniform also marks the first year the team's jersey switched from featuring a navy blue to a royal blue. Cubs ‘30s throwback Viewmasters® will also be given away to the first 5,000 children in attendance.

The Cubs will then face the Yankees in a two-game series, May 20-21.

Celebrate 100 years of Wrigley and purchase tickets for the Cubs' historic homestand versus the Brewers and the Yankees series!
