Where to Watch: Minnesota

This is an exciting year for fans of the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The men's basketball and hockey teams are both ranked nationally and have aspirations of making a deep run into their respective postseasons. With the Gophers' hockey team coming to Soldier Field in mid-February and their basketball team playing in The Big Ten Tournament next week, the excitement will be at an all-time high at these Gopher-friendly bars and restaurants.

Red Ivy (3525 N. Clark St.)

If you're looking for a great spot to catch the team in action, there's no better place in the city than Red Ivy (3525 N. Clark). Minnesota alumni gather there for great pizza and burgers to watch any game, and there are great drink specials available as well. Red Ivy is an official Gopher Bar, and has the perfect atmosphere for any Minnesota fan.

Jaks Tap (901 W. Jackson St.)

This place is family-friendly, so if you have some young gopher fans in your convoy, Jaks Tap is a great spot. It's also pretty close to the United Center. So, if you're going to the game, this is a great restaurant to fuel up beforehand or to chomp down on a celebratory meal afterwards. We reccomend the Baha fish tacos. You're welcome.
