Once a year, the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) opens the doors of over 150 buildings across Chicago that you would otherwise maybe never get the chance to explore! This year's CAF's Open House Chicago will offer behind-the-scenes acess to hidden gems and architectural treasures through Chicago's diverse neighborhoods, including every from downtown to Bridgeport/Back of the Yards, from Garfield park to Lincoln Park, from Pilsen to Prairie District. After Hours At Robie House (10/18)
Presented by the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust, After Hours At Robie House is a chance to glimpse the striking architecture of one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most iconic Chicago landmarks. while sipping refreshments and enjoying live jazz music. Beer, wine and light hors d'oeuvres will be offered to guests as you get the chance to explore this revered Prairie style home, including exclusive access to private spaces and balconies. Enjoy the view all night long, with the architecutre inside and the view of the University of Chicago campus outside! After Hours At Robie House runs every Friday night in October, so don't miss your second to last chance October 18 5-8 PM.

Held in the Model Railroad Garden, this family-fun Halloween weekendlong event gives the whole family the chance to walk amongst ghosts, goblins, pumpkins, seasonal fall plants, graveyards, and more. Let the kiddies pot up a Halloween plant and get in the mood for this spooky fun holiday for just $4 each ($6 for adults). Take a drive outside of the city, come in costume, and jump into the fun of the season this weekend at the Botanic Garden!
Little Green Cars Concert (10/19)
Performing this Saturday at the Metro, Little Green Cars are sure to dazzle you with a unique sound you most likely haven't heard before. This Dublin folk rock quintet released their first album, Absolute Zero, earlier this year, and are no newcomers to Chicago: after playing at Lollapalooza this summer, the group has been touring America and the UK extensively spreading the Dublin folk love. Grab a a friend, grab a ticket ($14 in advance, $16 day of), and welcome Little Green Cars back to Chicago this weekened. Opening act: Foy Vance.
