The 2nd Annual Taste of Ravenswood will take place at the Ravenswood Event Center's Billboard Room (4043 N. Ravenswood Avenue). Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of tastings from Ravenswood's most popular establishments, along with some of Chicago's best craft spirits and beers. Local restaurants, bakeries, breweries and distilleries participating include Spacca Napoli, Ampersand Wine Bar, Fountainhead, Bang Bang Pie and Biscuits, Lucila's Homemade, Koval, Dovetail Brewery and many more!

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Celebrate the holiday season at the official Chicago Christmas Tree Lighting in Millennium Park! The 103rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will feature a performance by the international percussion sensation created by Luke Cresswell and Steve NcNicholas: STOMP along with a special appearance by Santa Claus. The full lineup will be announced in early November.

The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Chicago

The stretch of Michigan Avenue between Wacker Drive and Oak Street, known as The Magnificent Mile, turns into a winter wonderland every holiday season. On the Saturday before each Thanksgiving, the "Mag Mile's" towering hotels and shops light up in glorious fashion, with more than one million lights adorning 200 trees! Plus a parade and a fireworks show over the majestic Chicago River end the night's festivities. The BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival is the perfect opportunity to get you in the holiday spirit!

Dance Theatre of Harlem
November 18-20 // Start at $30

Dance Theatre of Harlem returns to the Auditorium Theatre with the Midwest premiere of System, a new ballet by choreographer Francesca Harper with music by American composer John Adams performed live. Harper's one-act ballet explores artists' reactions to the social situation in America, specifically on the topics of race, gender and economics. The program also includes Robert Garland's Brahms Variations and Nacho Duato's Coming Together

Toy and Game Fair

North America's Biggest Toy & Game Fair open to kids of all ages! Preview and play with toys and games from around the world and meet Toy and Game Inventors. The fair features stage events, interactive exhibits, Young Inventor Challenge, contests, characters and so much more. Have fun!


Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals
November 19-20 // $25 online | $30 at the door

Featuring over 550 of the world's rarest and most desirable muscle cars and Corvettes, this interactive show and exhibit will give all the chance to experience the most extensive collection of museum-quality muscular vehicles ever assembled under one roof. New this year, the show will feature Cobra's, GT40‘s, the most significant gathering of Shelby Mustangs and much more! There will even be weekend appearances by car legends Bobby Unser, Dennis Pittsenbarger, Jim Mattison and many other notable guests.

There will also be plenty of activities for the kids, including a photography contest, scavenger hunt and the Revell Model Car "Make and Take," in which participants get to take home a model car that they build right at the show. Sounds like the place to be!
