West Loop steakhouse Swift & Sons will be offering their first ever Mother's Day brunch and does so with families in mind. Their Pre-Fixe, Family-Style Brunch starts out with a basket of pastries (think fresh croissants, a strawberry and cream scone, cinnamon rolls, banana bread and house made jam) then choose three out of seven family style large plates for the table (which include red crab crepes and a country ham Benedict). Four sides of cheddar biscuits, double fried red potatoes, a fruit plate and applewood smoked bacon add to the feast!
Take mom on a culinary adventure through South American cuisine at La Sirena Clandestina with a Bossa Nova Brunch featuring live music and a Latin spin on the brunch classics including the Benedict with Dende-Poached Lobster (with avocado mash, malagueta hollandaise, and a poached egg) or something sweeter such as the Tapioca Nordestina (with manioc crepes, cream cheese, strawberry-rhubarb preserves, cocoa nib whipped cream and pistachio).
