BENFEST (7/17-19)

The annual BenFest is a super-sized block party and one of the longest-running family festivals in the city. Much more unique compared to other community events, BenFest brings more than 5,000 residents, friends and St. Benedict parishioners together for live entertainment, a huge menu and beverage selection, and family fun for any age. Head to Leavitt St. and Irving Park Rd. to check it out!

Take yourself out to the ballgame this weekend to see the Chicago White Sox take on last season's World Series runners-up Kansas City Royals for a three-game slate at U.S. Cellular Field. It's sure to be a dandy of a series with these two division rivals. It's all part of the 2005 World Championship Reunion Weekend, too, with members of that historic squad attending the activities for a victory tour.
