CHICAGO BOAT, RV & STRICTLY SAIL SHOW (THRU 1/18)
Two annual winter favorites, the Chicago Boat, Sports & RV Show, and the Midwest's largest sailing show, Strictly Sail Chicago, are merging in 2015 to bring the best in boating, sailing and RVing to the Windy City and get a head start on outdoor fun. Boost your boating IQ with the new Progressive Boat School, as mariners from the Annapolis School of Seamanship lead visitors through an array of interactive courses. Try the new RV Handyman Campsite which offers free educational programs for RV enthusiasts. And learn to sail with the free Sailing Simulator. Fun for all ages!
CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL PUPPET THEATER FESTIVAL (THRU 1/25)
The Chicago International Puppet Festival celebrates the breadth of the art of contemporary puppetry. Presenters such as The Art Institute of Chicago, The Second City, and the Museum of Contemporary Art are signed on to deliver some truly unique performances of manipulated figures.
CHICAGO SKETCH COMEDY FESTIVAL (THRU 1/18)
Celebrating its 14th hilarious year, the world's largest sketch comedy festival returns to Stage 773 with more than 150 shows and 1,000+ performers from around the world. Prepare to laugh at these infectious performances with some of the funniest people you'll ever come across.
CUBS CONVENTION (1/15-18)
Baseball's right around the corner?? It's hard to believe this time every year, but the Cubs Convention is back to scratch the baseball itch for fans. The 30th Annual Cubs Convention at Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers will kick off the 2015 season, featuring Cubs celebrity guests, players, coaches, alumni and broadcasters. Fans can engage with some of these legendary figures and new faces through autograph and photo sessions, Q&A seminars, interactive exhibits and more!
TNK FEST (1/18)
This is the chance for you to see one-of-a-kind local and national indie musical acts over five days! The Tomorrow Never Knows Festival returns in 2015 with performances at various local music venues.
