West Town Winterfest

You're invited to shop at West Town this weekend with over 20 stores showing off their spirit this holiday shopping season as you follow the Winterfest shopping guide through the neighborhood featuring one of a kind items, special promotions, trunk sales, and other holiday wares.
You can also hop on the West Town Winterfest guided Jolly Trolley tour and enjoy Winterfest without the walking. The guided tour lasts 3 hours, features all of the shopping blocks and provides a "checked shopping bag" service so you don't have to worry about your gifts while you shop. Walk with Light on The 606

It's time to illuminate The 606! Join the 2nd Annual Walk with Light with your friends and family to walk the Bloomingdale Trail from Milwaukee/Leavitt Park to Ridgeway Avenue, where there will be fire pits, warm refreshments, s'mores, music and light spectacles. Feel free to bedeck yourself with a string of lights or glow sticks, carry an LED candle or find another creative way to shine. Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail will conduct a winter clothing drive at the following access points: Milwaukee/Leavitt, Humboldt Boulevard and Ridgeway Avenue.
Christmas Around the World & Holidays of Light

Explore rich holiday traditions from around the globe while creating your own traditions with loved ones in Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light at the Museum of Science and Industry. The celebration features a four-story, floor-to-dome Grand Tree, surrounded by a forest of more than 50 trees and displays decorated by volunteers to represent the holiday traditions from cultures around the globe. Enjoy live holiday performances, take-home LEGO® activities, and pose for optional photos with Santa. It's the one-of-a-kind experience that brings a whole world of holiday joy under one roof.
Ice Skating at Lincoln Park Zoo

Get ready to glide this winter at Lincoln Park Zoo! Bring your own skates or rent a pair at the the rink at their Farm-in-the-Zoo.
