Summer Booze Cruises

It's time to get back on the water for more summertime fun with one of the many boozy lakefront cruises this weekend.
Navy Pier is at the center of the summer fun with its brew cruises. Seadog and City Winery Chicago are hosting the Wine Flight River Cruise featuring a 75-minute cruise that travels along the Chicago River while you sample and learn about selected wines from a City Winery sommelier. The cruise will board at 7 p.m. and depart at 7:15 p.m.
Shoreline Sightseeing teams up with Revolution Brewing for their annual summer Brew Cruise featuring samplings of Revolution's award-winning craft beers, appetizers, live music, and a 90-minute cruise boarding at 7:45 p.m. and departing at 8 p.m.
Spirit of Chicago will also host the Chicago Cocktail Cruise for you treat yourself to great drinks and incredible views of the stunning Chicago skyline! The cruise will board at 3:30 p.m. and depart at 4 p.m.
Bloody Mary Brunch Cruise allows you to see well-known Chicago attractions and sample delicious brunch favorites while sipping your own, custom-made Bloody Mary. The cruise will board 12 p.m. and depart at 12:30 p.m.
Chicago Hot Dog Fest

Celebrate the fourth annual Chicago Hot Dog Festival featuring a music stage and kids' activities including face painting, games, inflatables, crafts, rides, prizes and more! The fest is held in Lincoln Park, just north of the Chicago History Museum. Food and drink are available for purchase using Dog Dollars (treat Dog Dollars as you would normal currency). Old Irving Park Beer & BBQ Challenge

Chicago's Old Irving Park neighborhood is hosting its third annual Old Irving Park Beer & BBQ Challenge featuring 18 pit-masters and local craft brewer teams who will present unique BBQ pork and beer pairings for attendees to sample and then vote for their favorites. Teams will also compete for votes from Celebrity Chef Judges Rob Levitt from The Butcher & Larder, Barry Sorkin of Smoque BBQ, and Chef Kevin Corsello from Pork & Mindy's.
South Loop Beer & Cider Fest

The South Loop Beer & Cider Fest will consist of one-afternoon session from 4:00 - 7:30 pm (3pm entry for VIP Guests). It will offer an impressive array of beer and hard ciders from Illinois and beyond. In addition to the sampling of craft beers, attendees can purchase food and enjoy live music from Zydeco Voodoo and other craft beer-centric activities. The festival beneficiary is the Chicago Women's Park and Gardens.
Taste of Lincoln Ave

Back for its 33rd year, this popular festival extends over several city blocks in the heart of Lincoln Park. The Taste of Lincoln Ave is an annual fundraiser to provide financial support for our local schools and organizations through grants. Features 100-plus vendors, artists, food and more than 25 music acts on three stages including performances by 16 Candles, Aaron Carter, Blues Traveler and many more. Afternoons feature a FREE "Kids' Carnival" on Altgeld with art activities, pony rides and more.
Bucktown Tree & Garden Walk

The Bucktown Tree and Garden Walk brings the community together in celebration of nature. Personal green spaces and exclusive gardens are open for public display. Local businesses will offer entertainment, refreshments and special garden walks. All are welcome to participate in activities such as the urban gardening inspiration place at Churchill Field Playlot Park.

Join Wrigleyville, along with fest enthusiasts in one of the city's most popular neighborhoods this weekend for its 14th annual Wrigleyville Summerfest.
