Chicago is home to some of the top vintage shops and street markets in the country. And there is a new vendor event that seeks to continue this trend, on a monthly basis.

Vintage Garage Chicago begins this Sunday, June 17, and will operate every third Sunday, now through October.  It will be known as America's first covered drive-in event; which means you can expect to find over 100 vendors selling their vintage and antique wares throughout a 6-level parking garage.  Yes. Six levels!

Some of the best dealers from the well-known Randolph Street Market (i.e. Pure Vintage Chicago and Estate Chicago) will be participating, as well as quite a few new faces.

With the first installation falling on Father's Day, you can also consider it as a unique opportunity to spend time with dad while shopping and discussing items from years past.  Admission is only $3. So the entire family can join in on the fun and take advantage of this garage sale / flea market hybrid.

Just be sure to bring your good walking shoes and a pocket(book) full of cash!
