A welcome respite amid the chilly doldrums of January, Tomorrow Never Knows (TNK) will return to Chicago January 14 - 18 with an amazing lineup of need-to-know talent. While the festival is recognized for its diverse musical offerings (which this year include Cloud Nothings, The Both, and Jukebox The Ghost), it's also got a killer selection of stand-up comedians who could liven up any dreary winter night. TNK's shows span the city, but the entirety of the comedy lineup can be seen at The Hideout, the beloved West Side bar and venue. Here's a look the TNK comedians you're going to want to check out.

For those with a taste for the absurd, well, you won't find much weirder than Tim Heidecker. Alongside comedy partner Eric Wareheim, Heidecker has created four shows for Adult Swim (including the hit, Tim And Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!) a feature length film, and a number of other successful endeavors, like the insane, in-your-face Old Spice ads starring Terry Crews. He frequently toes the line between whimsy and horror, giving his comedy an air of unpredictability that has garnered quite a cult following. While it's hard to predict what lunacy he'll bring to The Hideout, you can guarantee that people will be talking about it for quite some time.

After what could be considered a breakout year for the comedian, Cameron Esposito makes a much-anticipated return to her home turf with her upcoming TNK appearances. In the past year alone, the Chicago-born Esposito has appeared on Conan, Chelsea Lately, Maron, Last Call With Carson Daly, and Adventure Time. Somehow, she's even managed to release a brand new comedy album, the critically acclaimed Same Sex Symbol. Her comedy style is goofy, frank, and wholly endearing - Jay Leno has called her "the future of comedy." These days, everyone is talking about Cameron Esposito, so you won't want to miss this.

Comedian, writer, and known internet troll Joe Mande is one of the most buzzed about comedians working today. Mande has written for Delocated, The Kroll Show, and Parks And Recreation and has been on the comedy circuit for a few years, touring the country with Aziz Ansari and other like-minded comedians. When he's not writing or performing, Mande is often stirring things up on social media; corporations and big public figures are the usual targets of his tongue-in-cheek retweets. He's a true comedian of today who lives up to his reputation.

As the former co-host of MTV's late night talk show, Nikki And Sara Live, Sara Schaefer has already made quite the impression within the entertainment industry. She's interviewed hordes of celebrities and has brought her unique comedic voice to the VH1's Best Week Ever, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and even Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Schafer is confident, charismatic, and always willing to have a laugh at her own expense.
