Click, Clack, Boo! A Tricky Treat (10/19-11/24)

Lifeline Theatre presents the world premiere of Click,Clack Boo! A Tricky Treat, a family musical based on the brand new book by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Betsy Lewin. Follow along as Duck, Pig, Cow, and Hen plan their fabulous Halloween party, despite mean ol' Farmer Brown, who doesn't want the animals to celebrate. This production is appropriate for children ages five and up, and runs one hour with no intermission. The book will also be on sale in the lobby. Click, Clack, Boo! A Tricky Treat runs Saturday, Oct. 19 - Sunday, Nov. 24 at Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N. As an added bonus, join Lifeline Theatre every Saturday and Sunday at 12 p.m. during the run of Click, Clack, Boo! A Tricky Treat for a Stories Come Alive!Hour. Boo Ha Ha! at the Raven Theatre

While not exactly a performance, you won't want to miss Raven Theatre as they celebrate all things fall with their wildly popular festival, Boo Ha Ha! Featuring bounce houses, trick or treating, face painting, prizes, complimentary funnel cakes, and perhaps best of all, theatre games led by Teaching Artists from Raven's year-round educational program, there's something for kids of all ages at this fun theater festival. Chicago's acclaimed Spectacle company Redmoon kicks off its new "Redmoon INDOORS" Spectacle Series this November with a multimedia event celebrating the ritual of Halloween in a fresh, new way: on  Saturday and Sunday, November 2-3, Redmoon will open its 57,000-square-foot Pilsen headquarters for Skelebration, a new event for parents and children. 

For two-hour blocks, as acrobats swing overhead, families have a chance to:

  • Build shadow puppets and perform in Redmoon's giant shadow world shows
  • Build masks to wear in a parade alongside Redmoon performers and massive mobile DJ devices
  • Play in Redmoon's indoor park of swings and roller skates - roller skates provided
  • Bicycle around the space - bicycles provided or families may bring their own
  • WatchLaika's Coffin, a four-person puppet opera created by Maugeri and directed by Alex Balestrieri, Redmoon Director of Events
  • Enjoy folk and rock music by various family acts and musical schools across the city
  • Enjoy food provided byWhole Foods MarketandCabot Creamery Cooperative
