Whether in town for business, pleasure or a special occasion, you have a bevy of hotel options to choose from when visiting Chicago. Treat yourself to extravagant five-star luxury or enjoy a smaller, more intimate boutique hotel, like Andersonville's The Gueshouse Hotel.
The Guesthouse Hotel, marking the expansion and rebranding of The Andersonville Guesthouse, allows guests to reap the benefits of both, offering luxury amenities in a home-like setting. Opening June of 2014, The Guesthouse Hotel will be the first luxury boutique hotel on Chicago's Northside that allows guests to truly "live like a local."
Designed to appeal to a broad range of visitors, from business travelers to out-of-town wedding guests, The Guesthouse Hotel is ideal for visitors planning extended stays in Chicago. It offers a unique experience for Chicago visitors, one that focuses on local neighborhood culture in a comfortable environment, replete with all the luxury accommodations expected at other world-class guesthouses.
The Guesthouse Hotel's guestrooms feature spa-like master bathrooms, gourmet kitchens and private outdoor areas, much of the same amenities that can be found in the one- and two-bedroom suites. There will also be penthouse units with private rooftop garden access.
The buzz is growing with the announcement of a new partnership between The Guesthouse Hotel and River Valley Ranch & Kitchen operated by renowned Chef Jordan Rose (http://rivervalleykitchens.com/), the former chef at Chicago's Moto restaurant.
As the exclusive "room service" partner, River Valley Ranch & Kitchen will provide guests specialized options for utilizing the gourmet kitchens in their one, two or three bedroom condominium-like suites. Guests may select from three unique options for their dining pleasure. Farm to table groceries, fresh pre-made gourmet food or gourmet meals. They can "eat like a local" by calling their order into River Valley with their dining selections and orders will be delivered promptly to their unit. This allows The Guesthouse Hotel visitors to either prepare a gourmet meal in their kitchen or to dine on their balcony or rooftop garden.
Guests staying at the hotel in July will have an added perk. Each unit will receive a welcome basket courtesy of River Valley.
The Guesthouse Hotel will also offer wines from the Australian vineyard Mollydooker (www.mollydookerwines.com). The wines will be available to order through River Valley as part of the hotel's room service.
This new building will have a spacious lobby with reception area and retail space, club room, library and exercise room. Distinctive spaces and amenities will be available for special events, like corporate retreats, weddings, bridal and baby showers, and much more.
With its proximity to Wrigley Field, downtown Chicago, shopping and restaurants in the surrounding Andersonville, Uptown and Lincoln Square neighborhoods, The Guesthouse Hotel will be a one-of-a-kind stay for guests.
