The weather has officially decided: fall is here to stay. No need to be sad about it, just an excuse to update your closet for the season!
There’s no better way to spice up your autumn wardrobe than with the first ever Whitney Eve pop-up shop this weekend Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Thompson Chicago.
Take a break from shopping in the Gold Coast to stop by the pop-up, the first ever for Whitney Eve.
The brand was started in 2008 by its namesake Whitney Port of “The Hills" and “The City” fame, and has since been worn by fashionistas such as Jessica Alba and Heidi Klum.
Port, who will be on-site during the event to greet fans and shoppers, has crafted a collection perfect for city girls — feminine yet edgy with floral prints, leather-like details and comfy knits.
Shoppers will have a chance to get a first-hand look at the Fall 2014, as well as shop the Spring/Summer 2014 collections at a special price.
The current collection is filled with faux-leather pieces like the Paradise dress, the perfect flirty-meets-edgy dress for a chilly night out that won’t break the bank like other leather frocks.
If dresses aren’t your style, shop comfy-but-cute oversized sweaters and sweatshirts, flowy blouses and perfect tailored sweats.
The event is free, but shoppers must RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org before the event.
The Whitney Eve Pop-Up will take place Oct. 11 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Oct. 12 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Thompson Chicago Fronies Room, 21 E. Bellevue Place.
