Hamilton is the hottest ticket in Chicago. Ever since it hit the stage of the PrivateBank Theatre last year, fans have been holding their breath, searching high and low, and trying to find a golden ticket of their very own. While you can now book Hamilton Chicago tickets online, they are at price point that might just break your bank account, and until now, the hard-to-win online lottery has been the only way to secure affordable tickets. But beginning on Sunday, August 27, there's a new, easier way to enter the musical HAMILTON's popular lottery: the brand new HAMILTON app.

With a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, this timely musical tells the amazing story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War. Winner of eleven 2016 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Choreography and Orchestrations, this is a musical that you don't want to miss.

Here's how the new #Ham4Ham lottery via the new HAMILTON app works:

The #Ham4Ham lottery allows fans to enter to win two tickets to HAMILTON for only $10 each. Simply download the HAMILTON app at HamiltonBroadway.com/app. Then register, via the app, two days in advance of your hoped-for performance date, for the lottery.  If you're a lucky lotto winner, you'll receive a notification at approximately 11 a.m. CT the day prior to the performance. You'll need to complete your purchase by 4:00 p.m. CT on the day prior to the performance.

In addition to the lottery, the official HAMILTON app features fun stickers, camera filters, a merchandise store, music, news and exclusive content with Lin-Manuel Miranda and the various HAMILTON companies around the country.  Future features on the app will include exclusive ticket access, augmented reality, an enhanced #EduHam experience, and interactive karaoke tracks.

The HAMILTON Chicago production performs at Broadway In Chicago’s The PrivateBank Theatre (18 W. Monroe). For more information on the Lottery and performance schedule, visit BroadwayInChicago.com. For information on HAMILTON, visit HamiltonOnBroadway.com.
