Handmade Market Chicago

Getting crafty was never as much fun as the popular Ukrainian Village monthly event, Handmade Market. This crafters dream unfolds inside of the Empty Bottle bar on Saturday, January 14, from noon to 4 pm. Cocktails will be served during the market so that shoppers can browse and sip through this free event.

Organized to connect local artisans with fans of handmade designs, Handmade Market supplies an array of one-of-a-kind items that you won't find anywhere else. The sellers list changes every month but January's market will feature Damsel in This Dress Designs, which provides "cool stuff for women who don't need to be rescued" like totes, purses and wristlets, Butterfly Slippers Handmade Creations of hand-crafted journals and ties, and handmade metal jewelry art by Organica.

Customers must be 21 or older to enter Handmade Market but children accompanied by a parent are allowed. Upcoming Handmade Markets are also scheduled for:

  • February 11
  • March 11
  • April 8
