With Valentine's Day fast approaching, the producers of the Randolph Street Market are back on February 4 and 5 with "Passions & Vanities," the first installment of their newly launched Wonderful Winter Markets series.
"Passions & Vanities" will offer attendees an opportunity to shop unique, one-of-a-kind items for their Valentine. All three floors of Plumbers Hall will not only consist of the impressive vintage clothing, jewels and art you expect to find at the market, but will also house locally-made goods by some of Chicago's best indie designers.
For some added spice to your shopping experience, check out Katya & the Nude Sketch Salon, which will be onsite and ready to sketch charcoal drawings for daring patrons who seek the most unforgettable gift for their significant other. The less adventurous shoppers can stop by the love-letter writing station to author their own written work of art.
The "Passions & Vanities" market is the perfect opportunity for couples to spend time with one another. And just in case you have trouble convincing your sports-loving mate of that, simply mention the Super Bowl TV Lounge that will be outfitted with chili and beer. That should do the trick.
So, head to the market this upcoming weekend and kick off your Valentine's Day celebration early. Love will most certainly be in the air!
