When a world-revered chef comes to Chicago, we roll out the red carpet. Or more specifically, moto and iNG do. These sister restaurants prepare to welcome world famous Spanish chef Andoni Luis Aduriz to Chicago with a duo of special events on March 16 and March 17.
Aduriz is one of the most respected chefs in the world, lauded as having one of the best restaurants on the planet by S. Pellegrino with Mugaritz in San Sebastián, Spain. Following a recent staff trip to San Sebastián, where the moto and iNG teams wined and dined with Aduriz and co., they're returning the hospitality by hosting the chef for two-day culinary events in Chicago.
The first event takes place on March 16 at iNG, where attendees can get up close and personal to the cooking maven at a Q&A between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. While listening to enlightening conversation, guests will be able to sample passed appetizers and cocktails, followed by a book signing of Aduriz's Mugaritz - A Natural Science of Cooking. Tickets for the Q&A are $100 per person, which includes food and libations, or $150 which includes a copy of the book.
The next night, on March 17, moto will cook up a 10-course homage to the chef, with five courses cooked according to the Mugaritz cookbook and five courses inspired purely by executive chef Richie Farina's enigmatic brain. Tickets for the dinner go for $250 each.
