The annual Mother’s Day Tea* is hosted in the historic Ballroom: Enjoy live music as you indulge in seasonal scones, cake breads, tea sandwiches and a variety of sweets. Hats are optional, but encouraged, and if you don't have a fancy hat, don't despair: The Chicago Millinery Collective will be on hand with some of their magnificent creations for sale. 

 

Post-tea, take time to explore the museum's special exhibition, L’Affichomania: The Passion for French Posters, which features 45 posters dating from 1875 to 1910 created by five grand masters: Jules Chéret, Eugène Grasset, Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Alphonse Mucha.
