We'll have to wait until April for a full lineup, but some of Lollpalooza's headliners have surfaced early. Dust off your neon-framed sunglasses and cutoff jean shorts because 2013 promises to be another star-studded year for Chicago's annual music festival.
While the vast majority of performing acts are still a mystery, British-based breakout Mumford & Sons, French pop imports Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and 2005's group de jour Killers are all confirmed on the docket. Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello of the uber-catchy Postal Service are also slated for a reunion at Lollapalooza 2013.
The Internet's abuzz with rumors of Imagine Dragons, Nine Inch Nails, Deadmau5 and a possible Smashing Pumpkins set (finger crossed!), but so far nothing's been confirmed.
Lollapalooza makes selling out of 270,000 tickets look easy. If you're interested in folksy revamps, synth-based rock/pop, or just going berserk in a park to the music industry's biggest names - act quickly. Early bird tickets for the August 2-4 event go on sale next Tuesday.
