One of my favorite rites of spring is visiting the Green City Market with my children. Bring your mom to this beautiful market on Saturday, May 9, when the Hearty Boys will be hosting a chef demo at 10:30 a.m.. Pick up a Green City Market Cookbook and flowers as a gift for dear mom and treat her to some of the first farmers' picks of spring. Afterwards, head to the Lincoln Park Zoo and see if you can spot the new gorilla mom and her baby at the Regenstein Center for African Apes.
