The Chicago Park District has some wonderful opportunities for people to strap on their ice skates and have some great outdoor fun this winter.

And once again, the special chance to skate at Wrigley Field is available.

Since hosting the NHL's Winter Classic on Jan. 1, 2009, Wrigley Field has hosted an outdoor skating rink that is available to the public. Named "The Rink at Wrigley," there is a full-size skating rink in the Cubs parking lot at the corner of Clark and Waveland. The C.P.D. also offers a handful of other skating rinks throughout the city.
