Straight No Chaser
With shows like "Glee" and and "It Takes A Choir" on the rise, it's no surprise that a capella music has jumped in popularity on stages across the U.S. as well as on TV screens. One of the most popular of these nationally recognized groups, Straight No Chaser, is hitting Chicago this month for a two-show run at the Chicago Theatre on November 30.

Like many talented a capella addicts, the members of Straight No Chaser first got together during their college days at Indiana University. A video of the ten-piece's take on "The 12 Days of Christmas" went viral, spurring the band's professional career. Now they have multiple albums, including their most recent Under The Influence, under their belt and have more than enough material to keep you singing along all through their fantastic live show.

Also, let's not forget that SNC has always had a special affinity for Christmas music and the pipes to bring it to life. Sure, it's still a little early but the band's Chicago concerts will certainly get your holiday spirit sparked. Don't expect traditional caroling through. These witty entertainers always put a fun spin on everything they sing.

Straight No Chaser's current tour will make oldschool fans of the band especially excited as founding member Steve Morgan returns to the lineup.

They'll perform two show at the Chicago Theatre on Saturday, November 30, one at 3 p.m. and another at 8 p.m. Tickets for both shows are on sale now, starting at $32.50.
