Don some lederhosen, raise your stein, and enjoy this year's St. Alphonsus Oktoberfest! Come out to the corner of Lincoln and Wellington this weekend to participate in one of the biggest Oktoberfest celebrations in Chicago.

baked pretzels! Each year, Chicagoans from all walks of life come
together to celebrate the rich German history in this great city.
Packing tents with German music, dancing and drinking, St. Alphonsus
has been one of this city's favorite destinations for great Oktoberfest.
As always, you have the option to get the most out of the Oktoberfest by becoming a Brewmaster! By pledging $150, you will receive some great perks to the fest all weekend long. This includes a weekend pass, 2014 commemorative stein, $30 in brewers bucks, other discounts, and much more.
This year, Oktoberfest at St. Alphonsus will be bigger and better than ever! They've added craft beer nights for both Friday and Saturday. From 6:00-9:00PM, enjoy tastings from breweries not just from around the city, but from around the entire country. Admission is only $40.00 ($30 for Brewmasters) which includes a commemorative glass, a pretzel necklace, and plenty of great beers to try.
St. Alphonsus Oktoberfest is also something kids can enjoy! From 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., kids get to enjoy Kinderfest! Kids can enjoy face painting, dance parties, inflatable fun houses and obstacle courses.Each and every night will be filled with some great live music from some chicago favorites like Wedding Banned, The Polkaholics, 16 Candles, and Tripping Billies! So be sure to make your way over to Oktoberfest this weekend and soak in some Chicago-German culture, oh, and a lot of beer too!
