After a week of bike-themed events and pop-ups around the city, Chicago Bike Week comes to a close tomorrow, Friday June 20th. Whether you've participated all week long or have yet to saddle up, don't miss the grand finale. More than 1,000 cyclists are expected to take part in the Bike to Work Rally, which will take over Daley Plaza from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The celebration includes free breakfast and swag (don't forget to pick up your free T-shirt, designed by local designer Kristen Bolce) as well as complimentary valet bike parking. The rally is also a chance to come together with members of the ever-growing Chicago bike riding community.
New to biking the city streets? Check out this map, which details Chicago's bike network, including 110 miles of bike lanes and 50 miles of bike paths, then map out your route to Daley Plaza to join in the festivities.
