You might already recognize Lottie's Pub: It's been playing the role of a classic Chicago neighborhood bar, "Molly's," in the "Chicago Fire" television series. The series filmed at Lottie's before building a set replicating the bar at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. When "Molly's," a.k.a. Lottie's, is on fire in Season 1 of the series, the team of firefighters not only puts out the blaze but also pool together to buy the bar.
Certainly, Lottie's was the perfect fit for the role, having served as a friendly neighborhood watering hole in Bucktown since 1934, when legendary Lottie Zagorski transformed her corner grocery store into a tavern.
On Tuesday, September 23 at 9 p.m., you'll be able to catch a glimpse of Lottie's on the Season 3 premiere of "Chicago Fire." To celebrate, the classic Bucktown bar will be hosting a season kick-off viewing party. Lottie's will air the show on their 19 flatscreen TVs upstairs.
Featured specials will include $3 Coors Banquet, $4 Fireball and a $5 Chicago Fire Burger (spicy burger with jalapenos and pepper jack cheese). Lottie's will also host a Fireball brand sampling, feature Chicago Fire T-shirts for half-off between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. There will be a special appearance from The Chicago Fire Department Bucktown Engine 35 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
